My scan won’t run

Under some conditions you might find that you want to run a scan in BullCharts, but the “Apply and Run” button is greyed out, or the “Run Scan” button or option is just not available.

Reason – On the few occasions that this might happen, it is likely to be because some other BullCharts activity is running in the background. This might be the Alert Scan which automatically runs after downloading the latest data using the DataDownloader.

Action – You can either walk away and wait a few minutes, or to confirm the cause of this problem, try to find the Alert Scan information message box somewhere on your computer screen. It can be hidden behind other windows, or even on another connected screen or monitor.
